Work Hours/Shifts:PRN Wound Care Department Day ShiftYou Will Be Responsible For:
Gathers data/assess/reassess all populations served and complete primary assessment of all newly admitted and transferred patients
Provides routine and complex wound care to various types of patients seen by the dept providers
Manages patients plan of care
Provides education to patients and families from admission to discharge
Demonstrates proficient technical skills and operational knowledge on all equipment used in the department
QualificationsWhat You Will Need:
ASN degree required
Current GA RN license
Basic Wound Care course within 6 months of employment
Current AHA BCLS
1 year minimum nursing care preferred
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of wound care to all patients within the department.
