We encourage you to explore and embrace every possibility to grow your career right along with us.Position Description:The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.Position Requirements:KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Successful completion of basic math exam.
Certified in cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), body mechanics and safety education.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills.2. Previous Experience as a CNA/Patient Care tech
Demonstrated knowledge and skill in basic breastfeeding management information and techniques.
Demonstrated knowledge and skill in sterilization and aseptic techniques.
One (1) year previous experience in a health care/patient care role, or hospital clerical/technical position.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
