Position Description
The Clinical Supervisor serves as Assistant Nurse Manager which provides direct patient care and supervises the nursing operations of the Emergency Department. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
We are a 55 bed ED with a team nursing staffing model. All ED rooms are equipped with the latest GE monitors, including transport monitors. We are an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and a Pneumonia Center of Excellence
Position RequirementsREQUIRED
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with one (1) year of nursing experience in area of specialty.
- Associates Degree with three (3) years’ clinical experience OR Bachelor’s in Nursing with Two (2) years’ clinical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities and make appropriate clinical and supervisory decisions. Must possess good problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Certified in cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Other certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required based on department needs.
