Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today.Position Description:The Employee Health RN to serve the immediate health needs of the employees, auxiliary members, physicians and LIPs utilizing departmental policies and procedures. The Employee Health Nurse develops, implements, and evaluates unit specific and hospital-wide Employee Health Program. Assists with establishing the standard of practice in occupational health and safety for employees and their patients. Serves as a resource to all hospital departments, medical staff and community as it relates to preventing disease transmission in all ages (neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).Position Requirements:Required: 1. Must be graduate of accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations. 2. Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training. 3. Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). a. Other REQUIRED cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS, NALS, PALS, etc.) are unit specific. Please refer to the specific clinical unit. 4. Please refer to the specific clinical unit for additional education, competencies and/or certification required as a condition of employment. Preferred: 1. BSN degree preferred 2. Certified as an Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) 3. Must be certified in skills applicable to Employee Health within designated time frame. 4. Experience in Occupational or Public Health Nursing 5.
