- Work is guided by operational and project objectives.
- Administers policies and guidelines that directly affect teamwork activities.
- Supervised team will perform multiple tasks and possess a variety of skills and/or knowledge.
- Directs staff to complete assignments using established guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Provides feedback on performance issues.
- Interfaces with internal and external management in problem-solving and recommending technical alternatives and appropriate actions.
- Identifies areas of possible automation and/or improvement to provide better client service and enhance problem resolution techniques.
- Understands and manages problems utilizing defined problem and change management policies and procedures.
- Understands data center configuration and infrastructure requirements.
- Project management skills.
- Client service skills.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience with VMWare ESX - implementation, management, upgrading
- 3-5 years of experience with enterprise monitoring (SCOM, Splunk, VRNI)
- 3-5 years of experience with other infrastructure technology such as SAP, HPC, BRT, hardware
- Includes 1-3 years of managerial/ leadership experience.
- Automation with shell (PowerShell, batch) and scheduler (cron, Jenkins)

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
