Work Hours/Shifts:PRN Day Shift available in OR, Endoscopy, PACU, and Outpatient Services. Nurses must be available to float between bot Gordon Hospital & Murray Medical Center. If the RN is not needed in the established tier two areas as listed above the they will be floated to work in tier three or tier one based on competencies. They will be required to work a minimum of 1 shift per week, including one weekend shift and one holiday per year.You Will Be Responsible For:
Gathers data/assess/reassess all populations served and complete primary assessment of all newly admitted and transferred patients
Supervises Nursing Assistants in the process of basic nursing functions
Acts as preceptor when needed
Provides education to patients and families from admission to discharge
Demonstrates proficient technical skills and operational knowledge on all equipment used on the unit
Monitoring of sedated patients
Administration of sedating medications and others as needed
QualificationsWhat You Will Need:
ASN or BSN degree
Current GA RN license
Current AHA BCLS/ACLS/PALS required
1 year minimum nursing care preferred
