job descriptionManufacturing EngineerPermanent position: Global manufacturing company is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for their plant in Columbus, GA. This individual will be responsible for planning and developing manufacturing processes for all plant machinery. Qualified candidates will have direct experience with CNC programming and AutoCAD in lean manufacturing projects, specifically in automotive components. Lead lean manufacturing projects and program launches
Create processes based on production times and manufacturing capabilities
Liaison with vendors and customers to determine product specifications
Establish FMEA and complies with Quality Control and OSHA Safety Standards
Requirements for the Manufacturing Engineer
BS degree or equivalent experience in engineering
Must be familiar with CNC tooling software and understand geometric tolerancing, GD&T
Must have experience leading projects in automotive or machinery manufacturing environment
