Wolford Contracting needs a Foreman for our Asphalt and Concrete Patching crew. Our office located at 2723 Smith Rd in Columbus / Fortson. You can come to our Office to fill out an Application (please bring an ID) during the office hours of 9 am - 4 pm or you can call us and make an appointment to fill out an application earlier in the morning. We recommend also bringing a resume.
Foreman duties include: Operating equipment, coordinating, training new crew members, maintaining time, finding patch locations, scheduling work, ordering materials and repairs to equipment as required and keeping records of tickets and production notes.
This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of various types of construction equipment including but not limited to Loaders, Back Hoes, Water Trucks, Skidsteer, Motorgrader, Etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have at least two years of experience using heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Must be confident working with concrete & asphalt
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
Must have at least a high school diploma or GED
Flagger certification a plus.
