We are currently seeking a full-time Groundskeeper in the Columbus area to maintain the overall appearance of cemetery, mausoleum and funeral home locations. The primary job responsibilities include cutting grass, maintaining lawn, trimming around trees, walkways and memorial markers, laying sod, moving flowers to and from chapel and graveside, clearing debris and maintaining drives and walkways in safe condition. Workers will also be responsible for erecting tents/canopies and arranging chairs for graveside ceremonies.
Prospective candidate would need to possess the following;
Experience operating commercial lawn equipment
Ability to operate hand held tools and equipment
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions (hot/cold)

The job will operate on a 40 hour/week, flexible shift that may require overtime and/or weekends as necessary. The position is expected to earn between $11-$12.50/hour depending on experience. Benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, basic health insurance and a 401-k plan with company match for all eligible employees.

You will be required to pass a drug screen and background check.
