USPS Mail Contractor Looking to hire Backup relief for Mail Delivery in Cusseta Ga
Job Duties
Load/unload Bulk Mail and Deliver mail on time from Postal Facility to another Postal Mail Facility is the main job of USPS Mail Contractor’s Staff. You will work as needed to cover for the regular driver.
He/she is expected to manage his time wisely and map out his route to avoid retracing delivery paths. Also, Bulk Mail Delivery Driver, you are expected to have a cell phone in the event Postmaster/Postal staff need to contact you and vis versa. You will drive company vehicle and is expected to keep the vehicle clean and in working order by adhering to a preventive maintenance schedule.
Work Conditions
Physical fitness is required for this job, as Bulk Mail Driver you are required to carry heavy mailbags and packages of many weights and sizes. The work schedule is a split schedule (working mornings and return in the afternoon, include work on Saturdays. During the Holiday seasons the volume of mail and packages will increase.
Good Extra Income… Approximately 3 hours per day and schedule is a split schedule. Can work around your schedule for example if you can only work Mondays Wed and Fridays when needed as long as you are available to work morning, or afternoon or both when needed.
MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
Good Driving Record- NO DUI OR SUSPENSIONS
PASS BACKGROUND/DRUG SCREENING
Will Need copy of Driving Record for the last 3 years
