The role acts as a central point of contact, consultant, facilitator, and liaison to assigned lines of business. Oversees the coordination with Centers of Expertise (Talent Acquisition, Training and Development, Employee Engagement, Compensation, and Communications) and Shared Services to maximize the employee experience and resources. Ensures all operational plans are strategically aligned with our business objectives. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies.Employees at all levels are expect to:- Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for how you do your job-On the customer experience-think and act in ways that put our customers first, give them seamless digital options at every touchpoint, and make them promoters of our products and services- Know your stuff-be enthusiastic learners, users and advocates of our game-changing technology, products and services, especially our digital tools and experiences- Win as a team-make big things happen by working together and being open to new ideas- Be an active part of the Net Promoter System-a way of working that brings more employee and customer feedback into the company-by joining huddles, making call backs and helping us elevate opportunities to do better for our customers- Drive results and growth- Respect and promote inclusion and diversity- Do what's right for each other, our customers, investors and our communitiesCore Responsibilities:- Serves as subject matter expert, strategic HR business partner- Consults and collaborates with the business, HR, HR COE's and finance- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, navigates business change and gains equal credibility with executive level leadership and employees- Attends manager and supervisor level meetings and 1on1 meetings as needed to ensure sufficient opportunity to provide consulting, coaching, development and communication opportunities- Counsels, orientates, and trains managers and supervisors on the interpretation and administration of Human Resources policies.- Leverages Workforce Analytics to increase organizational effectiveness and performance- Oversees employee relations issues, coaches employees on performance management, corrective action, and conflict resolution- Educates employee population on HR tools and processes in order to maximize employee performance, achieve organizational effectiveness, improve engagement, and ensure legal compliance- Perform organizational assessments that diagnose strong and weak points of the organization and design solutions to create additional business value- Ensures compliance with state, local, and federal guidelines and policies to protect the business and its employees.- Partners with management to ensure strategic HR goals, policies, and programs are aligned with business initiatives.- Tailors employee engagement solutions to drive optimal organization performance and effectiveness- Helps hiring managers determine appropriate level when opening positions and partners with TA to define effective recruiting strategies- Develops and leads change efforts for major business initiatives- Administers compensation programs and assists in job analysis, job evaluation, and performance management to ensure compliance with employment guidelines- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.Additional Requirements- Manage a large volume of work and manage multiple projects simultaneously- Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, and consulting skills-Effective communication and change management skills- Prioritize and manage time effectively- Work effectively on teams, with other Human Resource colleagues and autonomously-Maintains confidentiality- Demonstrated ability to drive results (reliable, proactive, able to work effectively in complex, fast paced environment)- Ability to travel up to 20% (local and national)Job Specification:- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent- Generally requires 6-9 years related experienceComcast is an EOE/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT employer
