Job Description

The Field Services Representative position plays a key role in servicing our customers. The position is responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with all field Superintendents Field Measures Quality Inspections Installations and ensuring all jobs are serviced in a timely fashion to the customers’ satisfaction. The FSR works hand in hand with the appropriate CSR’s Closure Coordinators Installers and Service Techs assigned to their accounts with the overall goal of servicing our customers at a high level.

Overall Accountabilities:

  • Maintain positive working relationships with all field Superintendents

  • Ensure designs will work by field measuring house and notifying builder of changes that need to be made

  • Review and check services generated by CSR’s and Closure Coordinators for accuracy

  • Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the job is satisfactory from initial ordering and installation up until the closing of the home

  • Review and audit service tech performance reporting results to the local manager

  • Work with CSR’s/Closure Coordinators to ensure 1 in 30 metrics are maintained and we do not hold up homeowner walks or closings

  • Work with the Account Manager/Designers on correcting recurring design issues

  • Overall satisfaction of the customer is the ultimate goal

  • Other Duties incidental or regular as assigned at Manager discretion

Qualifications

Required Knowledge Skills and Experience

  • Basic math skills

  • Able to read a tape measure effectively

  • Ability to communicate with all varying levels of skilled trades

  • Highly motivated

  • Able to work independently

  • Ability to understand kitchen layouts and interpret design issues related to final installation

  • Experience using computer programs including Excel and Word

  • Experience working in a fast-paced team environment and handle multiple priorities

  • Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw conclusions

  • Willingness to spend time in a construction environment spending 80% of the day in the field

  • Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm

  • Ability to follow existing guidelines and drive continuous improvement

  • Possession of valid driver’s license

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Organizational Relationship:

The position reports to Sr. Manager, Ops & Install
