Job TitleCreeler - 2nd ShiftPosition OverviewThe person in this role will ensure that creels are ready for production of tufted products by maintaining a constant supply of yarn to the tufting machine creel. This person will also perform all tasks assigned by the lead creeler to provide assistance to operators as needed.Position Responsibilities:
Hang new lot numbers on each creel.
Strip, cut back and double or spot double creels.
Air splice or tie packages of yarn together.
Cap bad tubes when necessary.
Blow back yarn when necessary.
Properly complete R.T.I. labels.
Construct boxes for yarn.
Maintain recyclable material (cardboard, plastic, paper, etc.).
General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Assist floor supervisors as needed with any additional duties
Position Expectations
Must be able to work in industrial environment with elevated noise levels, dust, dirt, humidity and temperature variations.
Must be able to work well under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines.
Must be able to comply with all plant policies.
Must be able to perform tasks quickly and safely.
Must be able to meet departmental work standards in the areas of hanging, splicing, and stripping.
