Job Description

Work Responsibilities:

  • Manage end to end delivery for the projects assigned by the customer.
  • Identify cross-functional dependencies and work with respective functional owners
  • Attend client review meetings and governance meetings
  • Manage workflow, handle escalations, proactively engage resources to address issues
  • Lead SCRUM ceremonies Planning, Grooming, Stand-ups, Retrospectives. Facilitate and ensure the effectiveness of the Scrum Team Monitor, Burndown, message project sprint status to stakeholders team.
  • Monitor service delivery quality and assist in continuous improvements of delivery processes and quality.
  • Collaborating with Customer and their end clients to solve business-critical problems. Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Senior Business Analysts, and other client stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of successfully implementing application development projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies including 5 years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a high tech development environment with multi-function teams. PMP or PRINCE 2 preferred.
  • Prior experience with SCRUM Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. PMI ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience overseeing multi-function project teams including Developers, Business Analysts and QA Personnel using mixed internal and external vendor resources
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle models preferred as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices with an ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
  • Experience with earned value management and managing project using MS Project JIRA etc
  • Ability to determine dependencies, risks and facilitate planning
  • Exhibit judgment in establishing priorities.
  • Accountable for timely and quality deliverables during all phases of the project
  • Excellent Oral and Written communication skills with the ability to represent and be the face for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain good relations with all interfacing groups and individuals.
  • Maintain high motivation levels and positive dynamics in the team.
  • Champion a continuous improvement approach.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software related discipline. A Master s degree in a related field is an added plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience with strong working knowledge on banking and financial IT projects for at least 3 years.
