/An Equal Opportunity Employer/FMLA/Worker's Compensation Professional NeededThe Department of Juvenile Justice is seeking applicants who have professional expertise and knowledge working with Family Medical Leave (FML), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Worker's Compensation to assist our Absence Management team and advise employees and management on process/procedures and best practices. In this role the selected candidate will be responsible for:
Processing FML and Worker's Compensation paperwork
Corresponding with employees and facility managers
Collaborating with the Department of Administrative Services on Worker's Compensation claims
Managing FML and Worker's Compensation files
Developing and managing reporting logs for FML and Worker's Compensation statistics
Ensuring agency compliance with federal and state laws related to FML, Worker's Compensation and ADA
Serve as agency ADA Coordinator
Upon hire the selected candidate will be expected to demonstrate:
Advanced level knowledge of FML, ADA and Worker's Compensation claims
Knowledge of applicable laws
Independent judgment
Proficiency working with Excel
PeopleSoft Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication
AGENCY SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Two or more years of FMLA, Worker's Compensation or ADA experience on a local, state or federal government level;
One or more years of demonstrated experience ADA coordination
Experience utilizing PeopleSoft HCM
