Identity Security Solution Architect Location: Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC area The Identity Security Solution Architect is responsible for consultation, recommendations, and architecture of security solutions, with a primary emphasis on Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies to assist in reducing our client's cybersecurity risk and help solve their business needs around cybersecurity. These solutions may involve both technology and process, as well as staffing recommendations to support such use case solutions. You will be expected to engage in pre-sales with medium to global Enterprise clients on-site and remotely, in support of security line of business. In addition to being the Subject Matter Expect (SME) on the IAM solutions in our portfolio, you will also be responsible for positioning, demonstrating, comparing, and assessing IAM security solutions either for the customer or internally for our business.

Responsibilities
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for Identity and Access Management solutions
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on current and emerging security solutions within your areas of expertise
  • Architect scalable security solutions and services for our clients/customers for on-premise, hybrid, or cloud architectures
  • Provide input, guidance, and configuration recommendations on security best practices around Identity and Access Management
  • Provide expert technical knowledge and hands-on proficiencies with our strategic and innovative vendor partners for IAM security evaluations and technology comparisons, including in a lab environment
  • Collaborate with other architecture team members within the security line of business as well as the other IT and Development disciplines
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of presentations of technical security concepts to customers or as part of a security conference/summit
  • Complete required partner technical certifications
  • Participate in evaluating and selecting security products and services to be added to or retired from security portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our strategic and innovative security vendor partners
  • Some travel - up to 25%, as the needed for business demand
  • Stay current by researching new technologies, security news events, latest breaches, etc.

Requirements Expert knowledge of:
  • Security fundamentals
  • Identity Management, Authentication, and Access control technologies (includes IDaaS, MFA, SSO, IGA, PAM, etc.)
Strong knowledge (configuration and integration) of:
  • Networking concepts as well as security fundamentals around networking
  • One or more of the following: Microsoft AD, Azure AD, Google Workspace Directory, Universal Directory
  • Consolidation efforts of identities and access roles due to mergers and acquisitions
  • Identity provider relationships and certificates that support SAML and Federation
Comprehensive knowledge of:
  • Microsoft server and desktop operating systems and active directory integration
  • Public key infrastructures, including use of certification authorities and digital signatures, to secure the identity, device, or network
  • Industry best practices - schemas, configurations, security, policies, attributes, etc.
  • 3 years of experience related to Identity and Access Management solutions; architecting, engineering, or support
Preferred but not required Bonus
  • Experience working in an enterprise/customer environment comprised of 500 or more users
  • CISSP, vendor certifications, and/or SANS security certifications
  • Experience with CIS CSC or NIST risk-based frameworks
  • Security Operations Center experience
