Our Direct end client is looking for an

HR Project Manager for a 6 - 18 month Contract, working out of the PMO office. 6 month contract to start and then renewal after. The contract will be mostly Remote but needs to be available 1-2x per quarter to come into the office. Location may be either Atlanta GA area or Hobokan, NJ office.
  • Must be able to work Eastern Time Zone hours. Candidates must be vaccinated to be consider for this role.

The HR Project Manager will lead multiple project work-streams of solution design, delivery and change management across the HR project portfolio to help improve the capabilities, efficiency and performance of the HR function. Partner with key process, competency or system leads and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects whilst maintaining standards and working closely with HR and business leaders to report, govern and prioritize initiatives effectively. The HR Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for leading and supporting projects across HR Operational services and technologies for both current and future business requirements to drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR operations, the wider HR function and other business units - supporting business units or other business functions. Note: This role will be remote or can be office based if desired, with potential need to come to Clients Office very occasionally (1-2 times every quarter at most) to a US (Atlanta, GA or Hoboken, NJ) Office based visits will require proof of Covid vaccination per policy.

Key Qualifications/Experience: • College/University Degree Educated • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management with a track record of leading detailed change management projects and initiatives for senior sponsors across large organizations - with expertise in leading technology and process implementations. • Experienced project management skills to ensure timely delivery of projects to a high standard. Professional project management qualifications such as PMP or PMI certification are desirable. • Experience of HR programs, policies and processes is preferred but not essential. Proven experience and expertise of business, technology or process change management is required, with demonstrated experience of managing projects • Highly effective judgment and interpersonal skills; and the ability to interface with all levels across the entire organization. • Excellent communication and consulting skills with ability to listen, empathize and influence senior leadership and stakeholders. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to contextualize and leverage data and metrics to inform change to improve performance • Strong problem-solving skill set with ability to define, structure and document problems and their requirements. Expertise in choosing appropriate methodologies and solution in a professional, visual and presentable medium for different audience groups in a timely manner Key Responsibility: The PMO is currently supporting multiple projects which the project manager may need to assist with from time to time from start date until end of the year, but the main project that they would like the project manager to lead is a Global Shared Service Requirements Gathering and Design Project whose scope is: - Methodically capture, categorize key knowledge management for employees for all of operating countries outside of North America (EMEA, APAC, LATAM) to enable employees to self-serve on the company's Intranet rather than ask HR. This would include items such as local policies (e.g. maternity leave, medical leave, vacation), employee services (benefits, payroll, pensions), employee FAQs and others relevant content. The Project Manager will partner with local HR stakeholders to collect content, define required language translations and audience segmentation (e.g. UK only vs EMEA wide policy). They will then partner with Central Manger (Intranet Manager) to have content published in English and local languages on the site. The collection and collation approach should be aligned to the Enterprise Intranet Content Strategy & Governance Model and help support standing this model up. - Capture and Define Employee Onboarding Process Requirements for countries outside of North America. This entails all the steps from when a candidate accepts an offer to their first week of work such as legal requirements (e.g. right to work checks), policy requirements (e.g. Background checks, code of conduct policy signing) and defining workflow to IT equipment and desk provisioning processes. The primary focus is white collar workers, but hourly workers process are also in scope. The Project manager should partner with local HR and business stakeholders in each country and produce a requirements deliverable of must-haves and nice-to-have workflow and rules per countries in scope. This deliverable will be used to provide development requirements for our IT teams to develop in our HR case management tool in the future (2023+) and key part of the HR24 Strategy. General Responsibilities: • Controls project scope, schedule and cost. Ensures that blueprint plan is being followed with each project and dependencies are identified for successful delivery. Provides thought leadership to the creation of project plans and facilitates work sessions and key meetings. • Performs Business Analysis to understand, identify and solve business problems in partnership with the business. • Follows established project criteria and procedures for project activities, ensuring that priorities, objectives, and activities are consistent with project and business goals and policies. May manage large projects or important workstreams of larger projects. • Serves as principal focal point for project implementation by coordinating and managing multiple complex project activities following widely recognized industry standards for the formulation and completion of work in the area of project management • A proven self-starter who is responsible for managing stakeholders and project team members across project delivery lifecycles. • Ensures project information is communicated to the project team and stakeholders. Assists business in compiling timelines, communication plans, written status reports, and scorecards. Aids in selection of success metrics for proof of concepts, pilots, and rollouts • Work on projects to help develop process definitions, roles, requirements and interdependencies across Finance, IT, HR and other business functions.
