job descriptionForklift OperatorAre you an experienced forklift operator with sit down clamp experience and looking for an exciting new warehouse position?Do you love making extra money with overtime?If so, we need you for a home furnishings warehouse facility in Ellabell, GA.As a temporary employee you are eligible for the monthly Scratch and Dent Sale with fantastic prices on home furnishings!All shifts available!1st shift can start as early as 6:00 am and stay till 6:00 pm M-F, hourly rate $13.502nd shift is 4:00 pm through 12:00 am M-F, hourly rate $14.50Weekend shift is: Friday and Saturday 6 am to 6:30 pm and Sunday 10:00 am to 10:30 pm, hourly rate $14.50Responsibilities:As a sit down clamp forklift operator you will drive a powered industrial truck to lift and move heavy home furnishing freight.In a fast paced manufacturing warehouse, you will perform tasks associated with moving goods from one place to another.You might load and unload trucks or be asked to supply production areas with product or remove finished goods to a warehouse storage area.You may also inspect lifts before use and participate in training sessions for license renewal.Other tasks could involve wrapping loads with a shrink wrapper, loading goods onto and off a truck by hand, and light cleaning of the warehouse.Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PMSkills:-Being a Team Player for flexibility to assist in other areas of operation-Having great time management skills to keep up with the daily KPI's (Key Performance Indicators)-Bringing a positive attitude to help boost morale of you are your co-workers-Utilizing a excellent work ethic to show up every day and on-time to your shift-Using problem solving skills to help move production along when you encounter a problemEducation:No Degree RequiredExperience:ExperiencedQualifications:-Previous Sit Down Clamp Experience to maneuver through the warehouse to move products-Using wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory-Inspecting and performing maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment-Lifting up to 50 pounds-Ability to stand and walk for shifts up to 12 hours-All positions will require a drug screen and background checkClick to apply, call 912-271-5837, or text us at that number to discuss your skills and availability.
