The Product Specialist for Commercial Lending will be focused on driving expansion of our product suite to solve for Commercial Lending Digitization which covers small business through to complex lending. Joining a team of the smartest minds in the business, you will be working on new technologies including AI, Machine Learning, Advanced Workflow, Data Analytics, Integration into market utilities and other FIS solutions.About the role:The Commercial Lending Product Specialist is a highly experienced expert in their field who will serve as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.- Market validation - Act as the voice of the market allowing you to understand the current and future trends to ensure that FIS products are aligned
- Growth Strategies - As a senior member of the Product Management Team, influence product opportunities and create business cases into the ongoing development and opportunity
- Partnerships - Participate in partnership discussions, assessment, and commercial business case to expand and streamline end-to-end commercial lending.
- Thought leadership - Work with GTM and Marketing teams to document thought leadership papers and webinars to ensure that FIS is seen as a leader in commercial lending
- Delivery - Drive the delivery of new features, integrations, and capabilities within the FIS Commercial Lending Suite
- Management - May coordinate and guide the work of others.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience on in Commercial Lending
- A passion for automating complex processes
- Thought leadership about the future of Commercial Lending and how the industry is transforming
- Experience guiding and managing other professionals; regarded as a leader
- Experience in workflow and digitizing commercial lending processes
- Understanding and awareness of technical concepts (RESTful APIs, Event Streaming and Kafka, JavaScript, SQL)
- Strong experience in integrating systems
- Experience designing and using Servicing or Origination & Workflow Platforms (ACBS, LoanIQ, AFSVision, nCino, Pega, Appian etc.)
- A bachelor's in business or a related field or the equivalent experience.
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communicator - ability to discuss technical solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
- Attention to detail - track record of authoring high quality documentation
- Organized approach - manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
- Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team.
- Able to act independently to resolve highly complex problems
- Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%)
