Compliance Engineer ($100-130K/year)We are currently partnering with a manufacturing company in Peachtree City, GA who is looking to add a Compliance Engineer to their growing team. This is a Direct Hire position with excellent benefits. The Hiring Manager is looking to interview and hire as soon as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:• Works closely with certification bodies such as Intertek/ETL, UL, CSA and similar to ensure appropriate product safety requirements are applied and met• Monitors, investigates, and evaluates potential additions and changes to regulations and standards affecting company products.• Strategizes with company personnel and works with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and trade associations to represent company interests and influence outcome. • Responsible for developing and implementing systems, procedures and programs that ensure company compliance with federal regulations. • Prepares information certifications, authorizations, and other approvals that the organization needs to conduct its business activities; and produce, sell, and distribute its goods and services. • Communicates regularly with 3rd party agencies and ensures company policies strictly adhere to statutory requirements along with providing developmental input.• Creates systems to manage and streamline the regulatory process for products• Ensures the designs fulfill regulatory requirements throughout the product's life cycle• Collaborates with design engineers in the early stages of product development to ensure compliance ready designs. Supports engineering on design changes needed to meet and maintain compliance• Acts as liaison with outside counsel and internal stakeholders in the preparation and filing of patent applications. • Develops and maintains accurate compliance reports (metrics/KPIs)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering• Prefer 7+ years of relevant experience• Experience in product safety standards compliance and certification• Domestic consumer product safety and compliance regulations experience required• Experience with external regulatory, certification, and/or trade association committees required
