Job Description
The Cyberspace Operations Experimental and Exercise Specialist (ARMY TO DOD) shall:
- Provide operational, system, technical capability development support to CM Cyber for Cyberspace Operations: DCO, OCO, Cyber SU, Exercises and Experiments and PCTE integration pertaining to critical portions of programmed work within several key capability developments, training and proponent functional areas.
- Participate in the development of Joint, DOD, and Army concepts that include aspects of DCO, OCO, PCTE and Exercises and Experiments and leverage them in the development of DOD capabilities, with focus on the visualization of future operations.
- Provide comprehensive expertise in cyberspace operations, research and analysis, as well as, capability requirements development.
- Be knowledgeable in all areas of cyberspace operations, a strong knowledge in emerging technologies such as unified communications, mobile, cloud and virtualization technologies.
Qualifications
- Seven (7) years of work experience in the area of information technology and computer networking
- Experience leading small group discussions in DOD Force modernization, capability development process and requirements determination process
- Bachelor’s degree with seven (7) years of experience in DOD training exercise development, experimentation, and testing is required; it is preferred that Bachelor's is in computer science, information systems management, information technology, computer programming, or other relevant information technology (IT) related degree
- Must have an active a Top-Secret security clearance and upon hire be immediately eligible for nomination to receive Special Compartmented Information (SCI) access and able to be read on to Special Assess Programs (SAP) and SpecialTechnical Operations (STO)
