Job Description
The Persistent Cyber Training Environment Specialist shall:
- Provide operational, system, technical capability development support to CM Cyber for Cyberspace Operations: DCO, OCO, Cyber SU, Exercises and Experiments and PCTE integration pertaining to critical portions of programmed work within several key capability developments, training and proponent functional areas.
- Participate in the development of Joint, DOD, and Army concepts that include aspects of DCO, OCO, PCTE and Exercises and Experiments and leverage them in the development of DOD capabilities, with focus on the visualization of future operations.
- Provide comprehensive expertise in cyberspace operations, research and analysis, as well as, capability requirements development
- Be knowledgeable in all areas of cyberspace operations, a strong knowledge in emerging technologies such as unified communications, mobile, cloud and virtualization technologies.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience with designing legacy and current Cyberspace operations infrastructure
- Two (2) years of experience in developing and implementing cyberspace operations training material using virtual machine technology to include simulation computer networks
- Bachelor’s degree with STEM emphasis;Master’s degree or higher with STEM emphasis is preferred but not required
- Must have an active a Top-Secret security clearance and upon hire be immediately eligible for nomination to receive Special Compartmented Information (SCI) access and able to be read on to Special Assess Programs (SAP) and Special Technical Operations (STO)
- Two (2) years of experience/knowledge of military documentation process, capability development process, or requirements determination process is preferred
