DescriptionSAIC is looking for a Sr. Cyber System Administrator at Fort
Gordon, GA.Overview:Support INSCOM Military Intelligence Brigade (MIB)
locations in relation to Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED)
support, with projects including consolidated infrastructure (CI), and other actions
as directed by PED support. The position is located onsite at Fort
Gordon, GA. The Fort Gordon SAIC DPED team supports INSCOM G7 and the
116th Military Intelligence Brigade. Their mission is to provide Full Motion
Video and National Imagery analysis within multiple AORs in direct support of
Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Army unified Land Operations. The DPED team
provides 24/7 support to issues within the US Army INSCOM Global Processing,
Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) center, and the Converged Infrastructure
(CI) by installing and maintaining a virtual environment across four networks
and insuring its virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) functionality.Job Description:
Serve as part of a support team and will be available torespond to the issues defined by INSCOM G7 FM and the 116th MI BDE; candidateswill provide support for SAN integration, configuration and Level I/IIsustainment of INSCOM CI, as well as System Administration for Windows, Linux,and Solaris administration and other application expertise on emerging systems.
Provide support to the underlying system architecturemanagement applications like VMWare Virtual Center, IBM Director, and other“platform” tools supporting configuration, monitoring, and documentation.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of the VirtualEnvironment VM 6.7 for four (4) networks, and will maintain VDI functionality.
Assist in TTC and TGS integration and maintenance forOperational Ground Station (OGS) workstations.
Maintain AD for SIPR/JWICS/ CXI and NSA providedservice/maintenance for user accounts, and assist with Host malfunctions onapplications running in the stack as necessary.
Note: This role
supports a 24/7 Service environment and the SA will support a rotating-shift work
schedule.QualificationsRequired Education and Clearance
HS/GED and 9 years of experience or a Bachelors and 5 years of experience
Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a Poly
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certified Security+, CASP, or CISSP
Computing Environment Certification Required: This can be ANY certification dealing with ANY specific computing environment [egLINUX+, A+,Server+UBUNTU, RED HAT, MICROSOFT WINDOWS SERVER 2008 R2, SERVER 2012, WINDOWS 7CE, MCSE, MTA, MCP]
4+ year of Windows Systems Administrator experience
