Division Chief over the Enterprise Services Division (ESD).
Utilize available resources to execute projects designed to
create business value and meet organizational IT requirements.
Manage short- and long-term operation plans.
Identify operational deficiencies and recommend priorities for
modernization.
Direct, manage, and monitor a system of internal controls that
ensure effective and appropriate use of resources.
Provide supervision through assigned subordinate supervisors in

maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret
security clearance with Special Compartmented Information (SCI)
access for the duration of employment.
One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year
probationary period is required if the selectee has not
previously met this requirement.
This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain the
appropriate Information Assurance certification in accordance
with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement
Program, within 6 months of entry onto duty.
This position requires access to classified information.
Incumbent of the position will be required to complete a
Standard Form (SF) 312, Classified Information Nondisclosure
Agreement (NDA).
Incumbent may be required to work overtime and other than normal
duty hours which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Specialist (Policy and Planning):Specialized and Other Experience: One year of specialized
experience which includes providing technical or professional
Information Technology advice and recommendations to customers;
evaluating the impact of business needs or changes on current
Information Technology policies; ensuring compliance with
Information Technology plans, polices, or architectures; evaluating
processes or procedures to identify opportunities to gain
efficiencies; and directing or overseeing organizational programs to
meet strategic goals. This definition of specialized experience is
typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in
the federal service (GS-13].The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by,
information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience
and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate)
which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined:(1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and
conscientious about attending to detail. Examples of IT-related
experience demonstrating this competency include: leading others by
setting the standards for the quality of work, even in the most
difficult and/or high pressure circumstances; reviewing and editing
work completed by others to ensure that the quality of work meets
acceptable work standards.(2) Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is,
any individuals who use or receive the services or products that
your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals
who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the

providing quality products and services. Examples of IT-related

demonstrating this competency include: clearly explaining and
defending complex ideas, appropriately adapting to each audience's
