Qualifications Requires BS with 12-15 years of experience, MS with 10-13 years, or Phd with 10+ years of experience.

Requires at least 4 years of management-level experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certfication is highly desired.

Requires specialized experience in the following 4 areas:

have advanced-level proficiencies in system and network engineering, integration, management and administration

possess a working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) framework principles, cloud computing servicing models, best business practices, cybersecurity disciplines, service desk support/operations, Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) and Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) theory, DoD regulatory requirements and Army organizational constructs

possess a conceptual understanding of Joint Information Environment (JIE), Global Transport Engineering Support (GTES), Installation Information Infrastructure Modernization Program (13MP) and Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) initiatives in order to interpret, characterize and perform detailed discovery/analysis tasks and provide consultation services to facilitate ARCYBER Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet)/Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) ORGNet convergence and enterprise IT end-state objectives.

have experience with Data Center and application management, Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution Systems (PPBES); IT Support Contract(s) Development, Army Force Management, MS Project and Office software suites.

Requires TS/SCI clearance. Prefer with CI Polygraph and MEAD (MADO).

Responsibilities Support the ARCYBER / NETCOM Network Convergence effort as the Deputy Project Manager.

Specific Tasks include:
  • Provide management of team efforts to coordinate Discovery timeline requirements and track project status for each assigned ORGNET project
  • Provide oversight for all Discovery administration, analysis, and work performance
  • Perform cross checks on Discovery products and reports
  • Participate in and provide coordination and administration of meetings, briefs, Key Leader Engagements (KLEs), Working Groups, Governance Boards and work schedules
  • Provide Briefings as required to Convergence Governance Board
  • Conduct contracts discovery
  • Develop a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for site assessments

General Tasks include: Manages team that provides technical assistance to computer system and network users. May also have oversight for a data center. Provides 24/7 technical support for computers and associated networks. Manages a team of support personnel who troubleshoot IT issues. Implements policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected. Ensures maximum issue resolution in minimum time to meet Service Level Agreements. Evaluates new information systems products or services and suggests changes to existing products or services to better aide the end user. Coordinates the preparation of bid specifications for required purchases (e.g. computers, software, (email, firewall, backup) and a variety of parts, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining availability of required items. Directs, establishes, plans and implements the policies and procedures to support the organization's technical support services. Manages the deployment, maintenance, support and upgrade of servers, desktop PCs, hardware, software, operating systems and distributed printers. Monitors technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.
