Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. We are seeking cleared or clearable Principal/Sr. Principal Cyber Software Engineer to work in Augusta, GA. This position involves working with various multi-disciplined product development teams to develop software systems and tools, participate in technical reviews and provide customer support. This position requires developing user interfaces using languages such as Python, AngularJS, and React. This position requires 5-10% of time interfacing with the customer at Ft Gordon to support operational needs. This person must be located within 2 hours of Augusta, GA. The disciplines included in this position:
- Web development (AngularJS, React, Django)
- Network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, SSL, etc.)
- Deployment technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Operating system internals (CentOS, Ubuntu)
- Automated test (Django, Cypress)
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of relevant work experience OR M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 3 years of relevant work experience OR a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 0 years of relevant work experience.
- US Citizenship and an active Top Secret with SCI clearance
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 9 years of relevant work experience OR M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 7 years of relevant work experience OR a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of relevant work experience.
- US Citizenship and an active Top Secret with SCI clearance
- Demonstrated software programming experience Python
- Experience with a network analysis tool (i.e. Wireshark, tcpdump)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- Experience in software development to include any of the following: command and control, web applications, network applications
- Experience with SDLC (software development life cycle)
- Experience developing software for multiple operating system environments
- Experience with virtual machine technology
- Experience with deployment technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- OS Internals experience
- Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP
- Ability to understand secure / insecure programming concepts (format string vulnerabilities, heap overflows, etc.)
- Familiarity with common source control tools (git, Mercurial, etc.) and automated build system workflows (Jenkins, Go, etc.)
- Experience with the Agile methodology
