SummaryYou will serve as a Equipment Specialist in the Requisition and Technical Support Branch (TRF- 5230), Logistic Support Division (C520), Supply Department (TRF-C500) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.ResponsibilitiesYou will maintain a technical library of research and identification of material.You will provide advice and assistance regarding machinery, materials, and equipment operation, modification and repair.You will prepare technical specifications and quality assurance processes for purchase or manufacturer of non-standard material.You will administer quality assurance program to ensure product quality of all materials.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentQualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience maintaining and updating the technical library for research, identification, and supply provisions of material consisting of microfilm and hard copy; Experience communicating with Navy and DOD suppliers to secure and provide advice on equipment specifications, maintenance requirements, etc., Experience making determines to identification, screening and quality assurance of equipment and material utilized in refit; Experience examining Hull, Mechanical. Electrical (HM&E), TRIPER, and Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) materials, parts and components received from contractors; Experience submitting discrepancy reports for material identified by warehouse, shop and ship personnel.
