SummaryYou will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the Global Support (SLDB) Section (TRF-5212), Logistics Support Division (TRF-520), Supply Department (TRF-500) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for provide global customers with the latest MILSTRIP supply status of outstanding material requisitions.You will maintain effective relationship and liaison with various organizations such as ICP, DLA, GSA, FLC and other government agencies.You will perform research and analysis to determine status and action required to satisfy division objectives.You will perform training and provide assistance to customers and branch personnel in utilization of SLDB database; report generations, problem troubleshooting, etc.You will direct and update computer files and maintenance of the central database.You will identify and document researches and analysis for system/program deficiencies and refer to the appropriate System Analyst for action as required.You will provide recommendations for long range courses of action to be taken by SLDB to ensure material requirements for fleet readiness are not adversely impacted to improve supply support for all customers.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentQualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience generating report requests, conducting research, and identifying specific problem areas. Experience reviewing incoming MILSTRIP status and daily/monthly receipt reports from numerous sources via a variety of media. Experience reviewing various management reports and/or computer files for related processing errors/exceptions. Experience analyzing and determining appropriate corrective action to resolve and provide input to ensure database accuracy. Experience developing and providing recommendations for long range courses of action to be taken by SLDB to ensure material requirements.
