Position Summary:Anderson Frank is working with a growing company in Lawrenceville, GA that is looking to add a Sr. Accounting Manager to their team. The Senior Manager of Accounting is responsible for managing any technical accounting issues, new accounting guidance, and tax reporting requirements. The Senior Manager of Accounting will partner with the Controller in overseeing end-to-end accounting processes to meet internal and external reporting requirements and maintaining a strong internal control environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and document certain technical accounting issues and policies; effectively articulate the Company's positions for critical accounting issues with external auditors and internal stakeholders
  • Researches and implements new accounting standards.
  • Collaborates with external partners to ensure the Company meets tax filing requirements.
  • Assume primary responsibility for the preparation of the ASC 740 provision and related financial statement disclosures.
  • Tracks the company's fixed assets and related property tax obligations.
  • Calculates revenue recognition adjustments for the Company's retail installment contracts and ancillary products.
  • Prepares the Company's annual audited report and other external reporting requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 6 -8 years of accounting, finance, or relevant experience.
  • 2 - 4 years of automotive and/or consumer finance experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Computer literacy to include Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
  • Certified Public Accounts Certified
  • 1 - 2 years of experience with private equity own
