Position DescriptionThe Medical Transcriptionist is responsible to accurately identify patient and is able to transcribe the providers notes and orders within 24 hours. Willing and able to assist the providers staff with stat reports and information.
Position RequirementsREQUIRED:
- Six (6) months prior transcription or secretarial experience; preferred one (1) year medical transcription or secretarial experience at a healthcare organization.
- Must have excellent knowledge of medical terminology, English grammar, composition, and spelling.
- Must have word processing experience, and ability to type sixty (60) words per minute.
