Position: Tableau/Alteryx Developer (Not SAP) - Locals to GA only

Position Description:

The Tableau/Alteryx Developer’s role is to work with department stakeholders to define, build, test and deploy dashboard projects. This includes developing SQL database views and tables, working with BI tools such as Tableau and Alteryx to create complex workflows and dashboards. The position will be responsible for development of new dashboards for various initiatives and other reporting & metric needs for the department. This includes writing and documenting technical requirements, organizing the deployment of completed systems, assist other team members in support of the reporting, metrics, and dashboards.

Required Skills:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing BI/Data Warehouse
  • Experience with Tableau Desktop and knowledge of Tableau Server
  • Experience building workflows using Alteryx designer or other ETL tools
  • Strong SQL experience and ability to troubleshoot data issues in a SQL server environment
  • Experience with data modeling, data analysis, data profiling and data mapping
  • Extensive knowledge in various reporting objects like Facts, Attributes, Hierarchies , filters, Calculated fields, Sets , Groups, Parameters etc., in Tableau
  • Ability to design rich graphic visualizations with modular design of reports, worksheets and views in Tableau with a strong understanding of the appropriate chart types (Bar charts, Line charts, scatter plot, Heat Maps) to use to highlight patterns in the data
  • Tableau Certification Preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams as well as independent setting
  • Demonstrated success with overseeing software development lifecycle for enterprise-wide BI projects and ability to assess and solve complex technical problems
Availability Requirements:Monday – Friday (8AM-5PM), No overtimeOther:This position will be required to report on-site but may include the option to telecommute on a rotating basis
