About Us: The Marriott Courtyard Bistro Restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Warner Robins and is currently looking for an experienced Servers, Bartenders, and General Cooks. If you think you might be a good fit for our team, we'd love to hear from you!

Job Summary: Responsible for planning and directing food preparation in a kitchen. This involves a large degree of supervising other kitchen staff, as well as keeping an eye out for problems that arise in the kitchen and managing them effectively.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience for servers and bartenders:

Expert service skills are required to work with Marriott caliber guests.

Must be well groomed and well mannered.

Must have previous serving and bartending experience.

Essential Functions for our cooks:

Help manage a kitchen staff

Run daily lunch and dinner line up with FOH and BOH

Create daily soups and specials

Menu creation alongside the Executive Chef

Daily order proteins, produce, and dry goods

Execute private dining events for up to 250 guests

Follow and enforce all state and local health codes

Provide one-on-one training of line and prep cooks to ensure that all recipes/menu items are being prepared correctly

Oversee all employees in the kitchen with regards to food production, quality control, visual presentation, portion size, proper recipe usage and safety, according to guidelines set forth by Executive Chef

Maintain a sanitary kitchen area at all times by following established and common sense sanitation principles

Update kitchen staff information, including new hire paperwork and orientation

Knowledge, Skill and Experience for cooks:

Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalency preferred

Four years of experience in food service industry as a Cook or required

One year of supervisory or management experience is required

Basic computer skills

Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Working comprehension of the English language

Detailed knowledge of commercial kitchen operations
