Seeking construction professional with carpentry skills to work on our residential building & remodeling projects. We specialize in building outdoor living spaces such as decks, porches, sunrooms, hardscape, patios, and shade structures.
We service Central Georgia, including Macon, Lizella, Warner Robins, Perry, Kathleen, Lake Oconee, Bonaire, Centerville, Milledgeville, GA.
Description of role:
To work within a crew to construct Archadeck designed projects using the appropriate Archadeck Construction Master File Details and Quality Assurance Checklists. To deliver a finished product to the Archadeck specifications, meeting the customer and building inspector expectations.
Skills and Requirements:
Previous residential carpentry experience is required. Able to provide good carpentry techniques, framing and trim, exterior and interior, foundation through the roof.
No tools necessary
Willing to learn and ability to work independently to the Master File details and Quality Assurance Checklist.
Ability to read and interpret plans and check takeoffs.
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
Must pass pre-employment E-Verify and drug test for amphetamines, cocaine and methamphetamines.
Must be able to competently use a skill saw, nail gun, tape measure, level, screw gun, and other carpentry tools.
Must be able to lift an 80 lb. bag of sakrete.
Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding without difficulty.
Must be able to perform overhead tasks, as well as tasks that include frequent bending and stooping.
Work schedule:
Full Time, Monday - Friday, some Saturdays as needed
Salary:
Starting wage: $18 - $20 an hour, PTO, plus production bonuses
