Network Automation Engineer
The Network Automation Engineer is responsible for reviewing and acting on reports concerning standards compliance and participating in internal and external audits. Your job will be important and critical to our success as you work on remediation of configuration findings, implementing new or modified configuration standards, and perform upgrades of network equipment while complying with Fiserv Change Management processes. You'll need sharp scripting skills with Python or Ansible to be productive as you'll work on automating scripts for our network. You'll work in tandem with auditors and the network team. We need someone who can: •Gather and update documentation and other evidence to respond to network audit requests. •Participate in audit interviews to represent Fiserv's Data Center Network Engineering, explaining network diagrams, access, change management, and other policies, processes and procedures. •Work with vendors and other Fiserv teams to schedule and perform network device configuration changes and upgrades. We need someone who has: •High organizational skills •Ability to handle multi-task and meet deadlines •Ability to work efficiently and productively with minimal direction or guidance •Capable of exercising discretion and independent judgment •Ability to handle extremely confidential information in a professional manner •Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with a high level of confidence and accuracy •Familiarity with industry security standards and best practices - PCI DSS, CIS, STIG, DISA. •Familiarity with network monitoring and configuration systems such as HPNA, Spectrum NCM. •Familiarity with layer-3 protocols (EIGRP,BGP), route distribution, router filtering •Familiarity with configuring Cisco IOS and/or Arista Switches EOS •Skills creating and updating Microsoft Word, Visio, and Excel documentation. Basic Qualifications for Consideration: •College degree or comparable certification in IT, telecommunications, computer science, or related field is preferred. Minimum of one year in automation with skills such as Python, Ansible or other scripting languages Minimum of 3 years' experience working in data center network environments, especially on Arista and/or Cisco switches. Minimum of 3 years' experience using or administering network management and monitoring systems such as Cisco Prime, HPNA, Spectrum NCM, etc. •Willingness and ability to attend on overnight maintenance windows.
