Senior Embedded Software EngineerLocation: Marietta, GADuration: 12 monthsDescription:This position is for a Software Engineer Senior to perform software development for Sim Common supporting all Lines of Business (AMMM,IFG, F-35, and Advanced Development Programs)The Simulation and System Test team is a highly innovative organization, responsible for developing and maintaining manned aircraft weapon simulation systems utilized for weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery. Within our organization resides an extensive selection of simulators and software/systems integration test capabilities, including low-cost rapid prototyping concept development systems, full-dome handling qualities simulations, high-fidelity multi-ship, real-time, man-in-the-loop simulation systems, and hardware-in-the-loop mission systems and vehicle systems integration venues. We build these products for the F-35, F-22, F-16, C-130J, C-5, and other aircraft platforms.

The selected candidate will be working on laboratory software development within the client Aeronautics Simulation and System Test (SST) Team.• Involved in the design, develop and integrate common infrastructure software used in a number of simulations.• Low-level simulation software, drivers, executives, messaging systems, data recording/playback, and other supporting software.• Real-time experience a plus.Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or technical related discipline.

• Experience with Linux Operating Systems.
