E-com Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:The DCT/E-Com Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all warehouse activities on a daily basis including shipping and receiving of customer products consistent with Company objectivesDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, stacking of product, and the picking, staging and loading of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of productivityEnsure efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipmentAssist in establishment of work schedulesEnsure implementation of work schedules and effective assignment of job duties for efficient completionMaintain product locator and ensure optimal utilization of spaceAssist in maintaining the security of the warehouseEnsure cleanliness of work area through efficient housekeepingConduct operations in a manner which promotes safetyDirect the operations of work teams to achieve objectivesComplete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate mannerAssure the integrity of the inventory and assist in conducting physical inventoriesMaintain area of responsibility to strict Sunland Logistics Solutions and customer sanitation standardsOther duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work of forklift drivers, team leaders and other warehouse personnelKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:Experience in warehouse supervision or equivalent experienceBroad knowledge of warehouse operationsAbility to interpret technical documentsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to organize and manage multiple prioritiesAbility to work in a team environmentPC Proficient - Excel, Word, Access, and Microsoft Outlook SAP and EWM ExperienceDetail oriented Must have excellent mathematical skills Ability to prioritize workload Ability to work with a diverse group of people Ability to meet strict deadlines Maintain good housekeeping in work area Maintain a safe work environment Constant bending, stooping, lifting, walking and standing Must be able to lift 30 - 75 lbs Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in different locations as assigned Ability to be trained on forklifts, if required Other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:College degree or High School Diploma and 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Possess or have ability to become forklift certifiedDriver's License or equivalent Hazardous Material Handling Certification or Training preferredLANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read and interpret documents, including protocols, standard operating procedures, customer orders, and pick tickets.
