West Central Georgia Regional Hospital inColumbus, Ga is seeking qualified candidates for the position ofBudget Analyst.Work Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pmGeneral SummaryUnder general supervision, develops, prepares, analyzes and/or revises budgets and supporting schedules for assigned areas. Responsible for bank reconciliations, for submitting vendor management forms, for analyzing budgeting and accounting reports/requests to maintain expenditure controls, and for maintaining financial records and documentation.May request budget codes, track physical inventory or record/audit expenses or document use of funds and adherence to budget allocations.May perform cost-benefit analyses, and prepare and generate reports as required.Primary Responsibilities

Perform review and analysis of budget and policy issues.

Perform expenditure analyses and prepare budget-related financial summaries for management review.

Analyze agency budget and accounting report/requests to maintain expenditure controls.

Consult with management to ensure that budget adjustments are made properly.

Maintain financial records and documentation.

Assess financial data to determine the resources required to implement a program, or to analyze trends.

Prepare and compile statistical analyses, projections, costing, or plans.

Monitor budgets and identify variances and solutions.

Prepare and generate department, state and federal reports as required.

Prepare reports and summaries based on budgetary analyses for management.

Prepare other reports as requested.
