What We Need

FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire an Instructional Designer within our Corpay division. This position falls under our Corpay Payables line of business and is a remote position. In this role, the Instructional Designer as part of the Learning & Development team, will work closely with Department leads, Product, Marketing and SMEs to design and develop best-in-class training experiences including e-learning, video, microlearning, and supplementary materials to onboard, up-skill and constantly improve our team. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in instructional design strategies, adult learning theory, and curriculum development. They will also wear multiple hats, playing the role of innovator, researcher, creator and developer.

You will report directly to Carrie Drumheller and regularly collaborate with various departments.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Providing interactive and dynamic technical training materials that are learner centric.

• Designing and developing programs and curriculum from intake to assessment using creative, innovative, and evidence-based approaches (ADDIE, AGILE).

• Conducting post-training reviews, assessments and surveys to assess the curriculum effectiveness.

• Evaluating, revising, updating and enhancing existing training content and provide recommendations that will enhance the user experience.

• Conducting needs analysis and create learning solutions that align to the desired outcomes.

• Coordinating, managing and executing multiple training initiatives to meet the required timelines.

• Producing high quality and effective blended learning materials, including print, web-based courseware, gamification, micro-learning, certifications, interactions and assessments.

• Collaborating and managing stakeholders and subject matter experts in the content development process, ensuring alignment, engagement and expectation management.

• Uploading and structuring courses/content and run/analyze reports within the LMS.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years training and/or course design experience (preferably technology).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Proficiency in industry standard tools and LMS platforms (Lessonly & Salesforce a plus)

• Excellent verbal and communication skills and high attention to detail

• Highly proficient in time management, organization, planning and prioritization

• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, self-motivated and highly enthusiastic

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus on key priorities despite conflicting demands

Work Scope and Context

• Job is focused on technical areas of operations and client support as well as client facing training opportunities. Work is primarily self-driven within goals and departmental initiatives. Basic guiding principles for course design and facilitator basics.

• Job has no supervisory responsibility but will be responsible for influencing many internal departments.

• Position requires regular contact with others - in meetings, by phone or by email. Interactions focus on presentations, problem solving, customer service, relationship building, and information exchange. Interactions are initiated both phone, email and in person. Headsets are used regularly for phone work.

• Training may be conducted via Zoom or Onsite depending on the location of participants and need of the company.

• Remote office working conditions. Work requires regular sitting/standing at a desk, working with a computer and a telephone. Job may require hours that exceed 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week during peak periods. Some travel may be required.
