This job manages staff. Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities- Manages staff, daily workload, equipment and technologies ensuring all schedules and/or Service Level Agreements (SLA's) are met.
- Supports production, reduces the defects introduced and resolves incidents and problems with root cause resolution, with focus on increasing the stability and reliability within the area.
- Ensures staff follows policies, processes and procedures.
- Responds well to varying workload requirements for the operation, varies shift hours for management coverage and handles simultaneous processing, technical and personnel issues.
- Determines key metrics related to production, productivity, quality and timeliness and holds team accountable for meeting production and metric goals.
- Makes sound business decisions and knows when escalation is needed.
- Partners with Lines of Business and has regular dialog with Application area and remote IT Operations or Engineering technicians on management of problems and/or incidents.
- Actively participates in the management of key vendors to include conducting formal monthly reviews and informal weekly meetings, sharing information and discussing and resolving issues.
- Sets goals and direction for team, strategically and around a culture that supports improved reliability and serviceability (RAS) and increased personal accountability and responsibility.
- Ensures all Human Resource requirements are completed on time (goal setting, development planning, employee reviews, compliance training, etc.).
- Responsible for ensuring the training of new employees.
- Must be constantly aware of the company direction and image and follow up with internal customers on all issues.
- Partners with other areas throughout the IT Operations to leverage common resources and services as well as work with peers, upper management and Line of Business to determine go forward strategies.
- Communicates clear and precise with all levels within the organization.
- Participates in yearly calibration of staff across the Data and Print Center organization.
- Delivers approved projects and enhancements with quality, within budget and on time.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School degree or equivalent required.
- 3 years of experience within a Data and Print Center team environment operation required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products required.
- Degree in Business Administration preferred.
- 5 years of experience working in a large scale Data and Print Center operation preferred.
- Knowledge of hardware, software and products utilized within the Data and Print Center preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred.
- Skilled at analyzing problems and making clear decisions preferred.
- Act as a role model to staff keeping a positive attitude preferred.
- Ability to embrace and champion change preferred.
- Strong commitment to quality and timeliness preferred.
