Description SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - Private Equity Backed Software Company Robert Half currently has a permanent position open for an experienced Senior Accountant with drive and know-how to join a rapidly-growing team in the Norcross, Georgia area. As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. We are looking for a candidate that possess excellent analytical skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment to support the successful growth of the firm.Your responsibilities in this roleWork with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Requirements
Bachelors in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Prior work done in public accounting is desired
Recent and relevant accounting experience required, preferred experience in manufacturing
Experience with inventory analysis highly preferred
Wide ranging experience with Microsoft Excel
Earlier work involving Epicor
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Strong time management skills preferred
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
