Looking for live in care give to care for male stroke victim. He is paralyzed on right side. Needs help with all personal functions Need to be able to life and transfer. He weighs about 160 pounds. Has limited strength on left but can assist some with left side. He has a feeding tube that he gets most hydration through at times some food supplement. He can eat but has difficulty swallowing thin liquid Needs assistance in bathing. Need to be able to help walk /excerise so as not to lose muscle tone. Has all mental faculties but has trouble speaking Uses alphabet board at times. While meeting his needs is first there is a need for housekeeping assistance . Position would include room and board , days off, and salary. Need to be flexible, patient considerate and compassionate. The goal is to provide him with quality care and to maintain his quality of life best that we can under the circumstances. You would be coming into a family environment and would be treated like a member of the family We need to right person who wants to do this type of work. It is more than a job it is a calling.
