Job Description:
1. Verify patient information; medical history, medications, purpose of visit
2. Prepare patients for Doctor examination
3. Assist with office procedures
4. Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to patient appointments
5. Clean and maintain instruments and medical equipment
6. Provide patient education as directed by the doctor
7. Ensure supplies are stocked/charts are ready prior to patient arrival
8. Place medical supply orders and stock as necessary
9. Schedule patient appointments via telephone and in office as needed
10. Prepare laboratory specimens to be forwarded to pathology services
11. Set up x-ray and ultrasound machines at Doctor's request
12. Arrange referrals to additional doctors as necessary
13. Calling prescriptions to Pharmacies
14. Other duties as tasked
