The Position is responsible for
Creating a variety of sales and marketing related reports including sales results, pricing and key customer visit plans
Organizing and helping plan trade show exhibitions
Organizing and maintaining up to date customer files
Gathering routine sales and marketing information including competitors and customers
Helping implement price changes and track history of pricing in both production costs and selling prices
Support Executive VP as needed
Support field sales team as needed
Interact in a professional and effective manner with customers and co-workers
Engage and follow up on corrective actions to customer complaints
Position Qualifications
A minimum of five years' experience in sales and marketing work
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ideally experience in chemical or plastic business
Familiar with industrial trade shows and exhibitions
Capable in basic mathematics and spreadsheets
Experience in performing various internet searches for specific marketing studies
Minimum H.S. graduate; prefer some college experience; college degree a plus
Ability to learn new skills in a fast-paced work environment.
Work set schedule (8-5 Mon.-Fri.), some overtime and travel may be necessary,
Must be able to comprehend basic technical information
Ability to learn ERP software
Comfortable and capable of using various computer software including Microsoft Excel, Access and Word, Power Point
