Identico Label is seeking enthusiastic and dependable applicants for an entry level pressroom assistant position for our 2nd shift at our Dawsonville, Georgia facility.

2nd Shift Work Hours: 4pm - 2am, Monday - Thursday, Four Days a Week (10 hour shift), 3-day weekend every week! 4/10 Work Schedule
Position Overview: The primary position responsibility is to assist press operators with a variety of tasks to ensure that our printing presses never have to shut down during 2nd shift. Previous printing or converting experience is a plus but not necessary. We will train you to work with a variety of pressure sensitive label printing equipment including, die cutters, digital print, labeling converters, etc.
Position Responsibilities: (will include but not limited to)
Successfully follow all safety rules and meet all physical requirements of position (Safety guards in place, hand safety, etc.).
Carry heavy tooling and equipment on a level surface as required.
Maintain housekeeping standards in your work space and throughout production area.
Follow precise quality procedures
Load and install paper on unwind.
Ink up press units and setup print properly
Empty label wastebins and operate trash compactor.
Assist with installation and setup of rotary tooling
Assist press operators with making, taping and labeling cardboard product boxes.
Assist press operators with loading pallets with finished boxes.
Move completed pallets to warehouse staging area
Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks (Fluid levels, print and cut station general maintenance).
Basic math and reading skills (Pass entry level test).
Assist to efficiently setup and run of turret rewinders and offline slitter/rewinders.
Available to work overtime when required and willing to volunteer at other times.
Qualifications:
Standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping for prolonged periods of time.
Lifting up to 30lbs frequently and up to 80lbs occasionally.
Dexterity to handle rolls of labels and supplies
Be able to work independently
Attention to detail: be able to do fine detail work
Ability to read and write English
Excellent work ethic and attendance a must
Ability to read and understand product specs and instructions.
Ability to hear communication and equipment sounds in manufacturing environment (Hearing aids permitted).
