As a Coating Operator you will be assigned to work on a coating line and may work in one or more workstations including the face unwind, liner unwind, die, main console/winder, and quality lab. You may be proficient on more than one coating asset in a given location by way of cross-training. You will be responsible for supporting machine set ups, changeovers, problem-solving, coordinating quality resolutions, and supporting decisions on machine adjustments. This role is on 2nd Shift, 2PM-10PM.All interested individuals are encouraged to apply for this position. Correct and/or report all unsafe conditions immediately.Perform 5S duties and auditsAssist in equipment maintenance activities as directedComplete All Safety participationYou will be required to perform all other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Manager Review and follow compounding schedules per requirements.Stage materials for base compounding to support F5.Load raw materials and set up machines, requiring a high level of precision.Unload and receive all compounding associated tankers and box truck deliveriesAdjust setup and process operations accordingly.Accurately compound raw material batches while ensuring adherence to production / process specifications or instructions.Perform tests and checks product routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices.Monitor and verify quality in accordance with established procedure.Keep the compounding area clean following proper 5S guidelines.Accurately complete batch sheet report and other production records or logs.Perform general maintenance (PMs) and safety checklists as required to ensure effective operations.Responsible for labeling, handling, and transporting of hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste.Communicate effectively with team members and staff of any issues.Understand and implement all quality standard procedures related to role and responsibilities in assigned areas.
