- Perform traditional electrical design work for commercial buildings such as power, lighting, grounding, arc flash breaker coordination studies
- Projects include Mission Critical, Industrial, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Data Centers and Commercial (primarily remodels)
- Lead the development of design solutions
- Prepare schematic designs, construction documents and specifications in compliance with project program and building design at the direction of the lead engineer
- Coordinate designs with other disciplines, manufacturers and vendors
- Perform field surveys and observations in concert with the lead engineer
- Prepares technical evaluations and studies of electrical systems
- Responsible for completeness and accuracy of construction documents and coordination with other disciplines
- Opportunity to work on projects for Fortune 100 companies in a 6 state area.
- Occasional travel
- Bachelors' Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum around 5+ years' experience
- PE license is a plus or be on track to obtain
- AutoCAD and Revit fluent
- Ability to create single line diagrams and contract document to communicate scope and design intent
- Private sector experience (i.e. design firm), prefer Industrial or Mission critical/data center experience. Office experience may be considered as well.
- Experience preparing Arc Flash and Breaker Coordination Analysis would be helpful
