job descriptionWarehouse WokerDo you thrive being the power behind the movement of a manufacturer's goods in and around the warehouse, or from the racking system to the company's fleet and out the door? We are currently hiring skilled order selectors and loaders for a reputable distribution facility in Jefferson.In this role, you will load cases of retail product onto truck feed by a conveyor line. You should be in good physical condition, suited for repetitive lifting and most work day hours on your feet in a fast-paced environment. You will move materials within a warehouse or to and from transportation vehicles. In addition, you may pack and unpack items for shipment. You'll perform a variety of tasks related to the shipment of products.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include:
Receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing and shipping merchandise to the customer.
Tracks all inbound and outbound items through radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure accountability in inventory.
Verifies orders and ensures entry into the inventory management system.
Operates a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that all areas of the warehouse are well maintained, kept orderly and free of debris.
Maintains quality standards set forth by warehouse management.
The essential functions of this role include:
