Global Category Manager -ITJob DescriptionJob Summary:This is an exciting opportunity to manage and influence Kimberly-Clark's global software and software as a service (SaaS) strategy by establishing best-in-class software licensing, software management and professional service agreements.The position requires a savvy business professional with deep software knowledge and top notch licensing, supplier management, negotiation, sourcing and product owner experience.Responsibilities:Accountable for delivering business framework agreements and enterprise license agreements for use of software within KC globally for any range of suppliers such as SAP, Salesforce.com, Workday and emerging SaaS providers.Develop short and long term strategies for KC to embrace SaaS while also leveraging existing KC software investments.Work with KC business unit stakeholders on cross company acquisition, service and supplier initiatives including RFI / RFPs and single source negotiations / re-negotiations.Collaborate with IT Leaders to set realistic but challenging operational goals and objectives.Drive sourcing plans to integrate business software onto a common global platform including bench-marking suppliers, contracts, and services and evaluating different business unit requirements, existing opportunities or new initiatives. This includes setting and executing IT procurement strategies to deliver material improvement on quality, price and service.Collaborate with Senior IT Leaders across the KC business to drive IT strategic imperatives.Seamlessly partner with appropriate finance, compliance, and legal subject matter experts.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum 4 years Sourcing (Procurement), IT Product Ownership, Engineering or Supply Chain Management Experience.Minimum of 2 years of sourcing and software licensing experience.Minimum of 4 years of experience with principles and procedures related to global and/or regional licensing terms and conditions.Minimum of 4 years of experience working with financial information as a means of decision making, pricing comparisons & bench-marking.Minimum 4 years of experience negotiating at the highest levels within a supplier organization chart.Preferred Qualifications:Excellent written/verbal communication.Passion and desire to execute under tight deadlines and complex conditions.Strong business acumen.Proven global customer service mindset.Demonstrated project management skills with ability to lead multiple, highly visible initiatives.Independent thinker with the proven history of shifting paradigms.Knowledge of information technologies and services, specifically software as a service license models.Strong influencer who motivates stakeholders to execute on business outcomes despite obstacles.Kimberly-Clark and its well-known global brands are an indispensable part of life for people in more than 175 countries.
