Location: Sandy Springs, GA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager Job Description:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities surrounding infrastructure and operations technology projects and using their knowledge and experience with various technologies and ability to lead projects and programs to meet assigned business goals. Essential Job Functions:• Responsible for delivery in the development, selection, and implementation of their technology initiatives to improve effectiveness. • Experience with the challenges of migrating on-premises infrastructure and application portfolios and bridging the gaps during the migration strategy design process. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. • Experience with the management of Transition Project Lifecycle of large-scale transition projects from start to completion. Lead meetings to provide guidance to the project team and maintain project documentation. • Manage scope, time, goals, scheduling, updates, and strategy of projects. Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Training, Education: • 5+ years of Project Mgmt. and leadership experience. • Experience using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, MS Visio), templates, and processes to manage the delivery of programs/projects and strategies. • Manage dependencies with agile product release trains, systems architects, production readiness platform integration, technical operations and business continuity and disaster recovery projects. • Removing constraints, managing team dependencies, managing issues and risks and leading traditional Project and / or Scrum ceremonies. • Understanding of Project Management Methodologies • Mindset and attitude of Servant Leadership • Exposure to technical Concepts and tooling. o Knowledge of networking & infrastructure is a plus. o Knowledge of Technology Operations o Knowledge of BC/DR • Working experience using Microsoft Project preferred. • Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills. • Ability and desire to work with people all over the world, with the probability of a varying work schedule to accommodate different time zones. • Excellent relationship and team building skills with a good understanding of different cultures and how to work with them to deliver results, in a global organization. • Experience with leading globally distributed teams. • Some exposure to Agile principles; Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience is a plus • Certified Project Manager (CSM) or SAFe for Project Manager certification is a plus. • Bachelor's degree or equivalently qualified by experience Contact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
