The Supply and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for all supply/freight optimization, load shifting, dispatching, inventory management, and common carrier performance, including the coordination and tracking of day deals and optimization of inventory/contracts, daily utilization of optimization and dispatching software, and maintaining contract product lifting compliance for delivered Commercial & Industrial, Government, and Retail customers across the Eastern US. This position will manage both contracted and spot gallons with the focus being to achieve the lowest total cost of fuel and freight.

JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES Manage customer's inventory levels and determine reorder points. Review supplier pricing and freight to determine and select the best location to dispatch carriers to achieve the lowest freight adjusted cost of sourcing fuel. Process and dispatch sales orders in the PDI software system, and ensure carrier execution. Execute on supply contracts, achieving optimal compliance on ratability and volume variances. Understand Department of Transportation regulations and hours of service.

QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma is required, bachelor's degree in Logistics is preferred. 2-3 years' experience in a terminal dispatch, logistics and/or customer service role. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and web-based apps. Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with third party carriers and internal personnel. A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships. Must be available to be on call on a rotating basis on nights and weekends.
